Welcome To Ventura Roller Sports!

Welcome to Ventura Roller Sports, the new 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to bring a premier roller hockey facility back to Ventura County, CA.

We are currently in contractual conversations with the city of Camarillo to restore organized league play & programming at the Freedom Park roller rink. We will likely be granted a 6 month trial period contract by the city starting Dec. 2022 to show them that roller hockey can, and will succeed in Camarillo. Should the trial run be a success, we will be granted permission to start renovations on the rink including a brand new tile playing surface, new dasher board system updates, locker rooms, cosmetic upgrades, and even a potential roofing structure down the line. The future is bright at the freedom park roller rink, and we cannot wait to share more of our plans for the rink with you all soon!

The future is bright for the sport of roller hockey in the greater Ventura County area. Many things are up in the air, but one thing is certain, we will have new and improved roller hockey programming in our area before we know it. We look forward to having each and every one of you along for the ride to get our great sport thriving again in the place we call home!
